Michael Gould

Mike has been chairman and CEO of Bloomingdale’s since 1991. Previously, he was chairman and CEO of Giorgio Beverly Hills. Mike began his retailing career at Abraham and Straus in Brooklyn in 1968 as an executive trainee. Starting as an assistant buyer in decorative home furnishings, he held positions of increasing responsibility to become the company’s youngest merchandise vice president. In 1978, Gould was named SVP of J. W. Robinson’s in Los Angeles. Two years later, he became EVP for merchandising and sales promotion. In 1981, he was promoted to chairman and CEO of J. W. Robinson’s.

Leads the Bloomingdale’s organization along with President and COO Tony Spring.
